Illegal Formation follows the dystopian underground world of illegal football matches where the fans select who moves on to play again & who dies among the losers. In the vein of Squid Game meets Fight Club with the police runner of Point Break. Former football star turned undercover detective Jaylon Carter infiltrates this dark world to break it up but in the end, the games and their graphic violence spread to other cities.
But the deeper he enters the game, the harder it becomes to separate the cop he has become from the player he left behind.
